Traditional treatment for moss in lawns
Green Up Lawn Sand helps control spring and summer moss. It can also be used as a tonic, giving lawns a rich green colour.
Treating up to 160m2 of grass, it should only be used as a home garden lawn treatment.
Green Up Lawn Sand:
- Apply April to September when the soil is moist
- Contains ferrous sulphate
- Keep away from children and pets
Similar to most lawn treatments, Green Up Lawn Sand should not be applied during drought or when rain is imminent.
If using solely as a tonic, it can be applied throughout the growing season and watered in. To control moss, use the recommended application rates and rake out dead moss approximately seven to 10 days after treatment.
Grass should be cut three days before and not cut again until at least four days after Green Up Lawn Sand has been used. Re-treatment may be required if moss returns.

If you no longer wish to keep your purchase, you must inform us in writing within 14 days of accepting delivery. There will be a cost to collect the item, please see full return details.
IMPORTANT: The original product packaging must be free of damage or we will not accept the return, so please ensure your return protected well. For example, if you bought a pair of boots that came in a branded box do not tape the box and stick labels to it or this will be considered damage.
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of certain types of products, such as respirator masks and face masks, for health and safety reasons.
